Processed Cases

Our processed casings are run through commercial equipment to convert them from range brass to as close to new as possible.  All processed casings go through our multi-step process.

Depriming - All spent primers are removed before cleaning.

Cleaning - Cleaned via our proprietary wet tumble process to remove any dirt, debris or residue.

Swaging - All primer pockets are swaged to ensure all primer pockets are sized to specification.

Visual Inspection - We visually inspect each casing to ensure it is free from nicks, cracks and other deformities.

Sizing - The brass is returned to the proper shape. All processed rifle casings are full length sized, while pistol calibers are roll sized. Each case is verified using an EGW Chamber Case Gauge or Wilson Case Gauge. In addition, I reload ammo for personal use using same product I manufacture for sale. Continuously testing it for correct form, fit and function on all my pistols and rifles.  â€‹

Polishing- All casings are polished to ensure a bright, sparkling finish. Final product is wet tumbled using Stainless Steel Media, to remove burrs dirt and grime.

Why do pistol cases need rollsizing?

The full length sizing die cannot reach the base of the case. when cases are rollsized back to a factory dimension the round will feed and chamber reliably. Not every case needs rollsizing, this mainly depends on the chamber in which the case was fired, the powder type and recoil spring used in combination. The most common reason is when cases are recovered that have been used in mainstream carry style firearms with unsupported chambers or looser chambers due to the prerequisite of reliability over accuracy. The brass from these guns can often be re-used but without rollsizing the brass has a very short life and damaged or creased brass is often the result.

Once Fired Brass

All our brass is sourced from indoor shooting ranges, and as such once fired and reloaded casings are intermixed.  There is no way to distinguish a once-fired round from one that has been reloaded.  The term "once fired brass" is more of an industry term to distinguish fired brass from newly manufactured casings.

As all brass has been fired through a firearm, minor imperfections should be expected.  Small scratches, marks, dings and dents should be expected to varying degrees.  All brass is sorted for grossly deformed (unusable) casings, and extras are put into every package to make up for any that are not usable.
